Automating InDesign: Speeding Up Repetitive Tasks – Chris Drabsch

Chris Drabsch from Daydream Graphics will be speaking on the topic of methods and processes that can speed up repetitive tasks, layout and presentation in Adobe InDesign CS5. Specifically, Chris will demonstrate how to set up and use InDesign’s Data Merge feature to quickly insert and manage large quantities of images, headings, descriptions and other content into a catalog layout; and how to automate the appearance of these items using text, paragraph and object styles. He will then discuss other tips and tricks that can help speed up the InDesign workflow.
