AUGSA- After Effects with Flik
AUGSA | Monday – November 2, 2015 | 5:30pm, The Box Factory
Flik (Felescia Schemmer) will be composing a moving 2D to 3D photo composition in After Effects. Using 3 photos to recreate a background, mid-ground and foreground, the photo will consist of a subtle movement to bring more life and dynamic movement to a still photo.
The skills required for this for an absolute beginner to get to know how After Effects can be useful for adding a bit more sophistication to video projects, for instance a wedding photo album in video format. Some previous knowledge in Photoshop, specifically with the cloning tool would be good.
The second part of the night will go through a workflow to ease the stress from rendering and the final product of your After Effects project. Even advanced users can struggle with this part of the project as it requires an active knowledge of your machine’s capabilities and limitations when rendering a intensive and complex animation. This 2nd part will be have a technical & troubleshooting emphasis that will outline what you need to think about before, during and after completing an After Effects project. This lesson assumes you have practical knowledge with using your RAM hardware.
6 monthly Creative Cloud membership will also be drawn on the night.
We hope to see you all there.
